What's new in the editor
Photos open straight with an edit already ticked, exteriors start at dusk, and the requests you repeat come back as chips.
Updated November 3, 2026
The editor was rebuilt around what agents told us and what we saw them do, photo after photo. Here is what changed and where to find it.
Your photo opens ready
It opens straight. Twilight measures how the camera was tilted and levels the photo as it opens. Your original file is never changed. A note at the top of the edit panel says what it did, for example Straightened 1.2° or Verticals fixed, with Undo next to it. You can also set Fix verticals yourself in Adjust (on a phone it is Verticals in the adjust strip).
Screenshots open cropped. A photo saved as a screenshot (from a listing site or a phone) opens cropped to the photo itself, with the note Cropped to the photo and an Undo. If buttons from the screen sit on the photo itself, a Remove screen buttons chip is ticked to take them off.
An edit is already ticked. Twilight reads the photo first and ticks the chips it would run. Apply runs them as they are, or you change the selection first. Auto always opens with something ticked.
Exteriors start at dusk
Most exteriors our customers edit end up at dusk, so an exterior with sky in the frame now opens with the Twilight look ticked.
When an exterior is going to dusk, a Sunset Direction row appears under the chips: Auto, Left, Right, Behind the house or Behind the camera. Pick the side and the glow lands where the sun really goes down. Auto lets Twilight decide.
The lights you ask for
In Twilight, Pool lights on and Outdoor lights on are ticked when the photo has them. They switch on the pool, path and wall lights the property already has. Untick either to leave them off.
Ask once
Anything you type on two or more of your photos comes back as a ticked chip on your next photo where it applies, with the reason You asked for this on 3 photos. (on a computer, hover the chip to read it). Untick it whenever it does not fit.
Tidy-up chips
Chips for the things you would fix on the day of the shoot: Make the bed, Tidy cushions, Even the curtains, Level the blinds, Fold the towels, Tidy the throws, Tuck in chairs, Close cupboards, Close drawers, Close toilet lid and Straighten rug.
Clutter you would clear anyway, like a bag, a bin or a hose, is ticked for removal. Furniture and fittings are offered, never ticked: Twilight removes them only when you ask.
Staging across a listing
An empty room offers Stage this room. Once you have staged one room in a listing, the next empty room opens with it ticked, with the reason You staged another room in this listing.
Softer at 1K
If your photo is bigger than the size you are editing at, a small red ! appears on the resolution picker next to Apply. Select it to read why (your original is a higher resolution, so a 1K edit might not be as crisp) and to switch with one tap: Use 2K (2 credits). It is a heads-up, not a requirement: 1K stays the default and costs 1 credit. See download at 2K or 4K.
On a phone
The whole edit lives in one Edit button at the bottom of the photo. Tap it and the edit panel rises over the photo, with a handle to pull it back down. The top row holds the rating, the version number and Download; swipe up or down on the photo to move between versions. Your credit balance is in the menu on the projects screen, and Apply always shows what an edit costs.
