Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Twilight collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers twilight.pics and the Twilight editor. By using Twilight you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who we are

Twilight is an AI photo editor for real estate listings, operated by Studio2K. We are the controller of the personal information described here. For any privacy question, contact support@twilight.pics.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you add one, your name. When you subscribe or buy credits, our payment processor collects your payment details (we never see or store full card numbers). When you contact support or use the messaging bot, we keep those messages.

Photos and content you upload. To edit an image you upload it to Twilight. We store your original and edited images so you can access your projects. See section 4 for how we handle your photos.

Information collected automatically. When you use the site we collect usage and device data (pages viewed, actions taken, browser and device type, approximate location from IP address, and referring source). We use cookies and similar technologies to do this. We also record a limited IP-based signal to prevent abuse of the free trial.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide the service: process your photos, run edits, and store your projects.
  • To manage your account, credits, and billing.
  • To improve the product, measure quality, and understand how features are used.
  • To communicate with you about your account, edits, and support requests.
  • To send marketing email you can opt out of at any time.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Your photos and content

You keep ownership of every photo you upload and every edit we generate for you. We process your images only to provide the editing service: your photo is sent to our AI image and analysis providers to produce the edit you requested, and the result is saved to your account. We do not sell your photos, and we do not use them to train third-party AI models beyond what is needed to process your request.

You can delete your images from your projects at any time. When you delete an image or your account, we remove it from active storage; backups are purged on a rolling schedule.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookies and analytics tools:

  • Essential cookies keep you signed in and make the app work.
  • Analytics tools help us understand how the product is used so we can improve it.
  • Advertising tools measure the performance of our ads.

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. If you decline, we turn off advertising and analytics storage and stop the advertising pixel. Essential cookies always remain, because the service cannot function without them. You can change your choice by clearing the cookie for this site in your browser, which brings the banner back.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Twilight, each acting on our instructions:

  • Supabase for database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Vercel for application hosting and performance analytics.
  • Stripe for payment processing.
  • fal.ai for AI image editing.
  • OpenRouter and Google (Gemini) for image analysis and prompt generation.
  • Google Analytics for usage analytics.
  • Meta for advertising measurement.
  • Contentsquare for product and behavior analytics.
  • Resend for transactional and marketing email.
  • Twilio for the optional messaging bot.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

7. Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. We keep your photos and edits until you delete them or close your account. We retain billing records for as long as required for tax and accounting. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

8. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to notify you if a breach affects you and the law requires it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of marketing and of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email support@twilight.pics from your account address. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any such message.

10. International transfers

Twilight is operated from South Africa and our providers are located in various countries, including the United States. When we transfer your information across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards for that transfer.

11. Children

Twilight is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the changelog and reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
