How to share a project
Generate a public link clients can view without an account.
Every project can be shared as a read-only public gallery — no login required for the viewer.
Creating a share link
- Open the project page.
- Click Share in the top right.
- Copy the URL.
The URL looks like https://twilight.pics/share/<token>. The token is 32 random characters and is hard to guess.
What viewers see
- The project title and hero image.
- Every image in the project, with the version you selected as preferred. Other versions are not shown.
- A view counter (we track total views, not unique visitors).
What viewers do not see:
- Your account, name, or email.
- Failed or rejected edits.
- Any version you did not pick as preferred.
- Anything else from your account.
Revoking access
Today, share links cannot be revoked from the UI. If you need to take a link down, contact support with the project URL and we will invalidate it. We are working on a self-serve revoke button.
Tips
- Pick your preferred version on every image before sharing — that is what your client sees.
- Set a hero image so the gallery has a clear opener. The first
is_heroimage is used; if none, the first uploaded image. - Share links work fine in email, SMS, WhatsApp, or pasted into MLS notes.
