How Twilight checks your edit
Every edit gets a second look against your photo before you rely on it, and dusk edits get one-tap dials for the windows, sky and tone.

An AI edit is a new picture, not a filter. Most of the time it changes exactly what you asked for. Sometimes it also moves the framing, misses part of the request, or changes something on the property you never mentioned. In real estate that last one matters most: a listing photo cannot show a different house.
So after every edit, Twilight takes a second look before you rely on it.
What you see
Your result shows as soon as it is ready. While the check runs, the Edit button says so, for example Checking your edit with the step it is on. Hover over it or tap it, or open the edit panel, to see the Edit plan: each step by name, ticked as it finishes.
What happens when it finds something
What Twilight does depends on what changed.
A change to the property, or a request not done. If the building changed, a house number or sign was redrawn, something was invented, the camera moved, your request was not done, or a dusk still shows daylight, Twilight runs the edit again once. The Edit plan says so, for example Rerunning the edit, Relighting the scene or Putting the framing back, with the reason. A rerun costs nothing extra and you do not have to do anything: when it finishes, the better result is the one on screen.
Something in the room moved. Furniture, decor and loose items are not rerun on their own, because many agents will not mind. The check lists them as Also changed, and you decide. Select Try again (free) under that line and Twilight runs the edit once more from your photo, told what changed last time, so it is designed to leave those things alone. The result is a new version and gets the same check. You get one free try per edit, and if the run fails you keep the try.
Tone, light or texture you would like different. Nothing reruns for these. The dials below change them straight away.
What it checks
- Framing: the photo still shows the same view, at the same crop.
- Your request: the change you asked for is really there.
- Everything else kept: nothing on the property changed that you did not ask for.
- Light: on dusk and golden-hour edits, the light fits the time of day, with no leftover daylight.
The summary sits under the version in your version history, for example Checked 4 things, fixed 1. Open it to see each step, any Also changed line, and the earlier attempt if it was replaced.
Edits in Custom mode are not checked, and neither is an edit that asks for a different camera angle. Batch edits get the same check as edits you run one at a time.
One-tap dials
When a checked edit finishes, the top of the edit panel shows round dials for that version. Tap one to open its slider; the photo changes as you move it.
- Light: Darker or Brighter
- Windows: Softer or Brighter (dusk edits with windows)
- Sky: Lighter or Deeper (when the photo has sky)
- Tone: Cooler or Warmer
The dials are free. The first adjustment makes one new version on top of the one on screen, and further adjustments update that same version. You do not retype anything or start the edit over.
Twilight learns from them too: pick a warmer (or cooler) tone twice and later edits start that way, with the note Applied your usual warmer tone.
If something still looks wrong
The check is a second look, not a guarantee. If a result still is not right, give it a thumbs-down and say what is wrong in a few words. It goes straight to our review queue. See why does my edit look bad?
